Turn up

A meetup gets a place and a time. You say yes and come along: in public, in the group, around one thing.

Not a dating app.

No matching, no swiping, no one-to-one setup. You join a city, not a person. Meetups happen in groups, in public, around an activity.

Common questions

Is Link Up a dating app?

No. There is no matching and no swiping. The basic unit is the city group with a feed, stories and comments, not the individual profile. Meetups are group meetups around activities.

Who is Link Up for?

Anyone who wants more out of the city they're in: newly arrived, studying, or simply keen to get out more often. And anyone travelling who'd rather not start from zero on arrival.

How is this different from a group chat?

A chat only knows messages. Link Up has a feed for the whole city, stories, interest groups, and meetups with a place and a date. You open the app even when you have nothing planned.

Can I create private groups?

Yes. Alongside the open city groups there are private groups that can only be joined with a code.

Does it work while travelling?

That's exactly what it's built for. One account, every city: join the group for your destination before you land. Chat translation and emergency information for every country are built in.

Is the app in the App Store yet?

Not yet. The iOS and Android launch is being prepared. Join the waitlist to get an email when it goes live and secure 3 months of Premium free.

What happens to harmful content?

Reported content goes to moderation and gets reviewed. Posts are removed and accounts suspended when they breach the terms of use.
